Michael Perkins

Michael Perkins is a technologist and philosopher with special interests in computer science, critical thinking, data analysis, data visualization, mathematics and music. He is a graduate of Georgia State University and The Ohio State University where he received a Ph.D. in Philosophy in 1983. He has over twenty-five years experience designing, building and marketing tools for the rapid development of business applications and other information systems. Currently, Michael is Chief Information Scientist for Prosper Technologies where he focuses on the design and implementation of software systems for integrating, analyzing and visualizing business and economic data. Prior to joining Prosper Technologies, Michael held senior technical and management positions at Goal Systems, Computer Associates, Symix Systems and Quest Software.
